A bit late, because I am referring to an event at the Inn on the Hill last year, but was checking out your site today and thought I'd post this. I arranged a lunch for quite a crowd at your restaurant on the sad event of my mother's funeral. The meal was very good and the atmosphere professional but relaxed, just what we needed. My father, sisters and myself with our husbands stayed the night there a couple of times and had some of the best meals we have eaten in a long time (and my father lives in France, so he can compare!). I remember also drinking one of the pleasantest South African Chardonnay's I have tasted. Will be visiting again in January with the family!

I have lived in the area for many years but never ventured inside the Inn on the Hill until someone recommended the steaks. We decided to celebrate my husbands birthday there last night and I will definitely return. The food and service was superb. We had a fantastic night and I will certainly be recommending the venue. A very big thank you from Mark and I for an excellent party last night. You and your team did a fantastic job. So many of our guests commented on how superb the food was and how pleasant all the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble and you all went out of your way to make sure that our party was how we wanted it to be. All went to plan, a slight technical hitch with the music, but none the less a great time was had by all.
Your relaxed, thoughtful approach was very much appreciated by me, as was your help with the cake and map! Some venues you go to, you are just another paying customer, but at the Percy Arms your hospitable nature made us feel like we were your friends.
Without a doubt, I would recommend anyone to have their function with you.

This is just a quick note to thank you and your staff so much for all your help with the lunch to celebrate my wife's sixtieth birthday yesterday. It was really great to be able to have the function room and your staff set it out beautifully for us, and were so helpful and courteous throughout. It was a pleasure to deal with them. The food was great - very well run carvery, delicious desserts, and well chosen wines - and your colleague brought in the cake at just the right time as if we had rehearsed it beforehand. Please thank them all for me warmly. I would happily be quoted in any testimonial!
As you can tell, we were delighted as were all our guests, and we hope to be back many times as we walk the Surrey footpaths.
